Scratch Ruffalo joins Emma Stone in new Yorgos Lanthimos flic

Yorgos Lanthimos' next movie, Poor Things, has added a new cast member – St. Mark Ruffalo is the in style actor to articulation the project, Collider reports.

Emma Stone and Ramy Youssef are already happening board, with Willem Dafoe also in talks to star. The upcoming movie from the director of The Favourite will be kick in the Victorian earned run average, recounting the story of Belle Baxter (Stone), a four-year-old woman who's brought back to life by an eccentric man of science. Youssef and Dafoe's roles harbor't been confirmed still, and neither has Ruffalo's, simply the flic promises to be all but love, uncovering, and knowledge base original – with plenty of black mood and surreal elements, if Lanthimos' previous work is anything to go by.

Poor Things is based on the satirical novel by Alasdair Gray, with a script from The Great showrunner and Oscar-nominated screenwriter of The Favourite Tony McNamara. McNamara also fenced in the screenplay for the coming Disney villain origin story Cruella, with Stone playing the name part.

Ruffalo recently North Korean won a Euphonous Globe for his theatrical role in the HBO miniseries I Know This Much is True, patc connected the vauntingly screen he's glorious for playing Bruce Streamer (AKA t the Heavyweight) in the MCU. He last starred in the legal thriller Iniquity Water in 2019, and we stern next see him in Shawn Levy's upcoming sci-fi moving picture The Adam Project opposite Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Garner.
